Pre-Made Mason Jar Five Bean Soup Mix

Cathy Ream has done it again with her Old Homefarm business creating these great soup mix gifts in collectible mason jars.

Five-Bean Soup Mix - To make soup, start 2.5 hours before. Rinse bean mix in sieve under running water. Place beans in a large saucepan. Add 20 cups of water, 4 tablespoons oil, and seasoning mix. Add four, 14.5oz cans of tomatoes and juice. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover. Simmer for 2 to 2.5 hour until beans are tender.
