Girl Scout Troop 20556 has planned a large Take-Action Project that supports Local Businesses in the Logan County area. If you own a local business and would like to get involved, please contact troop leader, Danielle Jenkins. They would love to support as many local businesses as possible!
Troop 20556 makes arrangements to visit a local business every week, hang a banner and bring a guest sign-in book. That local business will be advertised for the week through a special Facebook group page, enticing patrons to visit the business and sign the guest book. At the end of the week, one winner will be drawn from that week's guest list and the winner will receive a gift that has been donated by that week's local business.
The campaign, "Courage, Confidence and Character make the world a better place" has kicked off with the parents, Brenda Moots and Brian Holder, of one local scout, Bostyn Moots, at their family owned businesses, Indian Lake Outfitters and The Depot.
Indian Lake Outfitters offers hunting, fishing, archery and firearms and The Depot is stocked with antiques, gifts and collectibles for all to enjoy. Both businesses are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm, located at 115 East Lake Street in Downtown Lakeview.
