About Us

Nestled along the west shores of Indian Lake, just off of St Rt 33, is the town of Lakeview. A quaint Downtown Business community with much to offer – retail, dining, banking, insurance, legal, investment, salon, spa and real estate.

What more could you ask for? How about live bait sales, bicycle rental, concealed carry courses, archery range & bow rental, tackle shop & gun store! Let’s add history museum, antiques, collectibles, art gallery, painting classes, jewelry making and family/group activities! YES, we have all that in Downtown Lakeview! It’s a tourist destination here – stop and visit

.

Owners of Indian Lake Outfitters, Brenda Moots and Brian Holder, love Downtown Lakeview so much, they’ve expanded their business and opened The Depot at 115 East Lake Street. The Depot, offers space for local collectors, crafters and artisans to share and sell their work to the public. Inventory is always changing and expanding, with much to offer for the antique lover and collector. The Depot carries home decor and gifts for any occasion, as well as cards and complementary gift wrapping.

The Depot is more than just a retail store; it’s an event experience you won’t want to miss!  With several classes by local artists and vendors, you can learn to paint or crochet, make your own jewelry or cards, sign up for family paint nights or kids art camps, schedule mini photo sessions and tour the historical museum.

Both, Indian Lake Outfitters and The Depot, are open year round. Hours are Tuesday thru Saturday from 10am-6pm with extended hours for special events.
