The crew from our sister store, The Depot No. 9, celebrated "May 4th" in style as national "Star Wars" day, "May the 4th Be With You".
The Depot No. 9 teamed up with The Costume Shop and local vendors, Deb and Clay Barger, to dress in characters from the galaxy far, far away. Princess Leia, C-3PO, Yoda and Chewbacca were live in person with R2-D2 and Darth Vader "standing by". If you were lucky enough to stand close to Darth Vader, he had a few quotes for you; like "This will be a day long remembered" and "I am your father".
Visitors were encouraged to take photos with the crew and customers were left with amazing cookies and memories until next year ... “Remember…the Force will be with you, always".
