Girl Scout Beaded Jewelry Making at The Depot
Come create unique pieces of beaded jewelry from concept to completed piece! Choose from over 2,000 different types of beads made from stone, shell, glass, acrylic, and metal. Perfect for beginners and moms are welcome to join in on the fun too!
This course meets the requirements for the “Jeweler” Badge, including the following:
1. The tools of the trade
2. Make jewelry with metal
3. Turn everyday objects into jewelry
4. Create jewelry inspired by another culture
5. Make sparkling gifts!
Cost: $12 per Girl Scout for the designing & making of 1 Bracelet with a Charm
Learn more techniques by adding on additional projects (additional fees apply): $5 per pair of earrings, $5 per keychain, $10 per bracelet, $20 per necklace.
Class length is 1 hour for initial project completion & jewelry technique/design discussion. Additional projects may be able to be completed during the initial hour of class, but extra time is recommended as all students finish at different rates. 1.5-2 hours will allow enough time for multiple project completion, if desired.
Minimum class size is 8 participants, more are encouraged including troop leaders, moms, grandmas and siblings!
