Saucy Sows is a family owned business in Degraff Ohio. We carry a large variety of their products at TheDepot in Downtown Lakeview, and LOVE them as a Food Vender. Saucy Sows started in 2011 with a sweet pepper mustard that came in both original and spicy. Since then they have added an original horseradish sauce, a smoky horseradish sauce, a sweet Kentucky bourbon BBQ sauce, moonshine mustard and a sweet Kentucky bourbon glaze & marinade. HONEY CHARACTERISTICS Each variety of honey has characteristics that make that each one unique. Some of the main characteristics are color, granulation, moisture content, Levlose (fructose sugars) levels and Dextrose (glucose sugars) levels. Honey color is always graded with a number. A low number indicates a light color and the higher the number the darker the honey. Granulation is also given a number value to rate at which point the honey tends to crystallize or granulate. Saturday's workshop creation will be a "WELCOME" sign. The Welcome Sign workshop is lead by Katy Sanford of Murals by Katy and will be held at The Depoton Saturday, May 5th from 10:00am-12:00pm.Tickets can be purchased in person at The Depot, Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-6pm or by calling 937-633-0147. Join us at The Depot on Saturday, April 28th, from 10:30am-12:30pm for our Creative Kids Class with Stampin' Up Demonstrator Shari Stevens. Shari has created several projects for the kids to build and create. All are wonderful gifts crafted by the kids themselves (with assistance) for Mom or Grandma this Mother's Day! Crafts include: Mother's Day greeting card. Magnets for the fridge 3-D teapot to fill with candy or tea bags. Price includes supplies and materials to make all three projects per child.
